Telangana reports 502 new Covid-19 cases

Telangana reported 502 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 57 thousand 876 (2,57,876). The state conducted over 17 thousand tests yesterday.

 

The recovery rate slightly improved to 93.87 per cent with 1539 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 42 thousand 84 (2,42, 084). 

Meanwhile,



the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total deaths reported at 1407 following 3 more people succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

 

Currently the state has over 14 thousand active cases out of which over 11 thousand are in home isolation. Meanwhile, 141 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours.
