Telangana reports 5,695 fresh Covid-19 cases

Telangana reported 5 thousand 695 fresh COVID cases during the last 24 hours. The state government in its COVID Bulletin stated that currently there are over 80 thousand active cases in the state. The number of COVID cases reported so far in the state has gone up to 4 lakh 56 thousand 485. During the last 24 hours, six thousand, 2 hundred and six people recovered from the disease taking the total number of recoveries to over three lakh, 73



thousand. The recovery rate stands at 81.91 per cent.

  

Meanwhile, 49 people died due to COVID and other co-morbidities in the state during the last 24 hours taking the toll to 2,417. The GHMC area reported over 13 hundred 52 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy and Warangal urban districts reported the highest number of cases.
