Telangana reports 596 fresh Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

In Telangana, 596 fresh COVID cases  were reported  during the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 72 thousand 719. The state conducted over 59 thousand tests yesterday. The COVID-19 recovery rate slightly improved to 96.34 per cent as 921 more people recovered yesterday. This took the number of  people who   recovered so far to 2 lakh 62 thousand 751.

The daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that a total of 1470 deaths have



been reported so far as three more persons succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the last 24 hours. Currently the state has  less than 8 thousand active cases out of which over 6 thousand 8 hundred are in home isolation.

In Hyderabad,  102 new Covid-19 cases were reported during the last 24 hours.  Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Warangal Urban and Adilabad districts also reported a considerably high number of COVID-19 cases during the same time.
