Telangana reports 609 fresh cases of Covid-19

Telangana reported 609 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 71 thousand 492 (2,71,492). The state conducted over 53 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate slightly improved to 96.14 per cent with 873 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 61 thousand 28 (2,61,028).

 

Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total 1465 deaths reported so far following three more



persons succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

 

Currently the state has over less than 9 thousand active cases out of which over 6 thousand 9 hundred are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, 114 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Warangal Urban, Nalgonda, Khammam and Karimnagar districts are among those which reported a considerably high number of COVID-19 cases during the same time.
