Hyderabad: Telangana state reported 721 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this the total COVID cases reported in the state have gone up to 2 lakh 75 thousand 261 (2,75,261). The state conducted over 51 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate slightly improved to 96.67 per cent with the recovery of 753 more people. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 66 thousand 120 (2,66,120).
Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department this morning stated that total 1480 deaths reported
so far following three more persons succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours. Currently, the state has over 7 thousand active cases out of which over 5 thousand 5 hundred are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, 123 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while Rangareddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Warangal Urban, Karimnagar, Khammam, and Nalgonda districts are among those which reported a considerably high number of COVID-19 cases during the same time.
