Telangana reports 7,664 new Coronavirus cases, 53 deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 7664 new Covid cases and 53 fatalities on Thursday, taking the number of deaths to 2261 and total number of positive cases so far to 4, 35, 606. The number of active cases in Telangana has reached 77,727.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, authorities conducted 77,091 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 4,492 samples are awaited. On Thursday, 5926 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 81.63 percent.

So far, a total of 1, 29, 05, 854 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 4, 35, 606 have tested positive and 3, 55, 618 persons have recovered.

the districts included 99 from Adilabad, 114 from Bhadradri, 1441 from areas under GHMC, 230 from Jagtiyal, 54 from Jangaon, 55 from Bhupalpally, 85 Gadwal, 153 from Kamareddy, 274 from Karimnagar, 212 from Khammam, 106 from Asifabad, 243 from Mahabubnagar, 110 from Mahabubabad, 191 from Mancherial, 137 from Medak, 631 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 36 from Mulugu, 198 from Nagarkurnool, 285 from Nalgonda, 47 from Narayanpet, 130 from Nirmal, 330 from Nizamabad, 139 each from Peddapalli and Siricilla, 484 from Rangareddy, 401 from Sangareddy, 289 from Siddipet, 283 from Suryapet, 189 from Vikarabad, 120 from Wanaparthy, 105 from Warangal Rural, 152 from Warangal Urban and 184 from Bhongir.
