Telangana Reports 873 fresh cases and 4 deaths

Telangana reported 873 fresh coronavirus cases and four deaths until 8 pm on Saturday taking the cumulative number of cases to 2,63,526 while the death toll reached to 1,430. And the recovery cases went up to 2,50,453 with the recovery of 1,296 cases in a single day. 

At present, there are 11,643 active cases out of which 9,345 are in home or institutional isolation.

As many as 41,616 tests were conducted between Friday and Saturday including 18,324 on primary contacts and 4,997 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 1,296 turned positive and the reports of 604 are



pending. 

The positive cases reported from the state include 152 from GHMC, 78 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 71 from Rangareddy, 58 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 56 from Warangal Urban, 47 from Nalgonda, 44 from Karimnagar, 36 from Jagtial, 29 from Khammam, 27 from Sangareddy, 22 each from Suryapet and Mancherial, 20 from Mahabubnagar, 18 each from Siddipet and Mulugu, 14 from Yadadri Bhongir, 13 each from Mahabubabad, Nizamabad and Nagarkurnool, 11 from Kamareddy, 10 each from Warangal Rural, Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Medak, 8 each from Adilabad, Wanaparthy, Jangaon, 5 from Vikarabad, 4 each from Jogulamba Gadwal, Nirmal, 2 from Komarambheem Asifabad and Narayanpet.`
