Telangana reports 894 new Covid-19 cases

Telangana state reported 894 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. With this the total COVID cases reported in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 61 thousand 728 (2,61,728). The state conducted over 39 thousand tests yesterday. The recovery rate slightly improved to 94.67 per cent with 1057 more people recovering yesterday.

 

This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 47 thousand 790 (2,47,790). Meanwhile, the daily bulletin issued by the state Medical and Health department this morning stated that total deaths



reported at 1423 following 4 more people succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours.

 

Currently the state has over 12 thousand active cases out of which over 10 thousand are in home isolation.

 

Meanwhile, 154 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad during the past 24 hours while Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda districts are among those which reported considerably high number of new COVID cases during the same time.
