Telangana reported the highest number of Seven thousand, 432 fresh COVID-19 cases on a single day, during the past 24 hours. According to the State Covid Bulletin, 33 more persons succumbed to COVID-19 and other comorbidities taking the death toll in the state to 19 hundred 61.
While the recovery slightly improved to 86.16 per cent during the past 24 hours, Two thousand, 157 more people recovered from COVID. This took the total recoveries in the state to nearly Three lakh, 27 thousand. The state has currently over 58 thousand active cases. With this, the number of COVID cases reported in the state so far has gone up to Three lakh, 87 thousand,

Meanwhile, the GHMC area reported 14 hundred 64 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours. This is the highest number of fresh COVID cases reported on a single day in the capital city area during the second wave. Medchal Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Nizamabad, Khammam and Warangal Urban districts are among which reported the highest number of daily cases while over 20 other districts reported fresh COVID cases between hundred and two hundred each.
Meanwhile, over 2 Lakh Two thousand people have been vaccinated on a single day yesterday at 1450 vaccination centres across the state. With this, over 38 Lakh Five thousand people have been vaccinated so far in the state.
