Telangana witnesses more 1,269 new infections of COVID-19

Telangana reported 1,269 Covid-19 positive cases and eight fatalities on Sunday, taking the toll to 356 and cumulative number of positive cases to 34,671.

Out of the new cases, 800 positive cases were from areas under GHMC while 132 persons tested positive from Rangareddy and another 94 from Medchal



district.

On Sunday, the health authorities tested 8,153 samples out of which 6,884 have tested negative while 1269 were reported as positive. Also, 1563 persons were discharged on recovery today, taking the overall number of recoveries to 22, 482 while the number of active cases have reached 11,883.
