A 21-year-old student has tested positive for Covid-19 in Tamil Nadu, taking the total number in the state to three. A resident of Tamil Nadu, the 21-year-old is a student in Dublin, Ireland.
In a tweet, Tamil Nadu health minister C Vijayabaskar on Thursday wrote: "Student
from Dublin, Ireland tested positive for Covid-19. On his arrival on March 17, he was screened and home quarantined." The minister said the student went to a hospital on Wednesday following which samples were sent and the case was confirmed positive. The patient is stable in isolation, the minister added.
