In West Bengal another three persons died of Corona Virus in the State. Giving this information in Kolkata today the State Chief Secretary, Mr. Rajiv Sinha told that with these 18 persons have died of the dreaded disease in the State so far. Mr. Sinha informed that altogether 385 Corona positive patients are under treatment at different hospitals in the State at present.
Meanwhile, the visiting Central team deputed to assess the implementation of lockdown measures in South Bengal Districts has expressed displeasure
over the arrangements of Quarantine Centre at Rajarhat and MR Bangur COVID hospital in Kolkata.
In a letter to the Chief Secretary, Mr. Rajiv Sinha the leader of the team Mr. Apurva Chandra said that the norms of social distancing are not being followed in Quarantine Centre and COVID hospital besides those lacking adequate facilities for treatment. The Central team also sought reply from the Chief Secretary for delaying Corona tests in Government hospitals.
