Total number of Coronavirus cases climb to 26,210 in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, the number of COVID-19 cases has climbed up to 26 thousand 210 after the 736 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. With eleven patients succumbing to the infection during the day, the death toll rose to 791.

 

As per the state health bulletin, 507 coronavirus patients were discharged from the hospitals yesterday taking the number of recovered cases in the state to 17 thousand 866. No new coronavirus case was reported from 13 districts since Thursday.

active cases in Madhya Pradesh. The total count of cases in Indore is 6 thousand 556. & in the capital Bhopal is 4 thousand 977 while Gwalior has reported 1 thousand 921 cases. There are 2 thousand 839 active containment zones in the state. Over 300 people caught without masks and violating social distancing norms in public were kept in a temporary jail for nearly three hours in Ujjain. They were also administered an oath that they will wear masks and follow social distancing norms in future.
