In Madhya Pradesh, the number of corona infected people has crossed one lakh marks. At the same time, about 77 thousand patients have been recovered so far.

The numbers of COVID-19 cases in the state climbed up to 1 lakh 458 after 2 thousand 552 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours. The death toll also rose to 1 thousand 901.

As per the state health bulletin, 2 thousand 554 coronavirus patients were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours taking the number of recovered cases in the state to 76 thousand 952. There are now 21 thousand 605 active cases in Madhya

Meanwhile, the state government has issued new guidelines for prevention of Coronavirus infection in the wake of religious programs and festivals. During festivals, there will be no permission to carry out any processions for religious and social events. 

Garba will also not be allowed during Durga Puja. Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Dr. Rajesh Rajaura has said that the maximum height of the idols to be installed in various public places will be 6 feet and the size of the pandal will be 10 by 10 feet. Maximum 100 people will be allowed to participate in the event.
