Total number of Covid-19 cases reach 35,285 in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, all efforts are being made to prevent spread of Corona infection and for proper treatment of infected persons.

Special emphasis is being laid on for timely identification, arrangement for quarantine and timely testing of Corona suspects in the state.

 

The number of COVID-19 cases in the state climbed up to around 35,285 after the 750 new cases reported in the past 24 hours in the state. 

With fourteen patients succumbing to the infection during the day, the death toll rose to 900. As per the State Health Bulletin, 549 Corona virus patients were discharged from the hospitals yesterday taking the number of recovered cases in



the state to 24,099. Madhya Pradesh is in better condition in respect of Corona infection.

 

Initially, the state was ranked 3rd and 4th in the country. Now the state has come to the 15th position in terms of active cases and recovery rate. Fatality rate has come down from 10.3 per cent to 2.7 per cent. The state’s share in the number of active cases in the country is 1.6 per cent.

 

The testing capacity has also been increased from 600 samples per million to nine thousand 334 samples per million. At present 22 per cent of the total capacity of General beds and 29.9 per cent ICU beds are being used for the treatment of Corona.
