Total number of positive Covid-19 cases in Jharkhand rises to 181

The total number of positive Corona cases in Jharkhand has risen to 181, after four new cases were reported last night from Giridih district. Total number of active cases in Jharkhand is 91, while 87 patients have recovered from the disease and have been discharged from COVID-19 hospital.

Around 63 passengers have boarded the Special Train from Bokaro station late night for New Delhi which has started from Howrah, and 22 passengers de-boarded the express at Bokaro. Passengers on-boarding the special train arrived 3 hours prior to the train timings for proper medical check-up. The Special train which started from New Delhi yesterday for Ranchi is scheduled to arrive by 1000 Hrs today at Ranchi Railway



station.

Meanwhile, Special Shramik Trains are continuously bringing in migrant labourers from different states of the country. Early this morning a special Shramik train reached Koderma ferrying 1206 labourers from Telangana. Another train reached Ranchi bringing 1200 labourers from Bangalore this morning, while 1208 migrants from Bharuch in Gujarat also reached Daltonganj in Palamu district in Jharkhand yesterday in the evening. 

District administration has been medically screening each single passenger and are being welcomed with food packets, sanitizers, face masks and drinks. All labourers are being sent through buses to their respective home districts after proper medical check ups.
