Two Omicron cases reported in Telangana

Hyderabad: Two persons, one from Kenya and another from Somalia, have tested positive for Omicron variant here in Hyderabad, Director of Public Health, Dr G Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday said.

These are the first cases of Omicron variant to get reported in TS. 

Apart from the two, a 7-year old



domestic traveller also tested positive for Omicron but has already travelled  to West Bengal.

The positive patient from Kenya is admitted to TIMS while officials are in the process of isolating the individual from Somalia who also tested positive for Omicron.
