UAE adds more new 3,997 COVID-19 cases, 12 fatalities

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 3,977 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 4,075 recoveries.

Twelve deaths were also reported.

The new cases were detected through additional 173,952 tests.

The total



number of cases in UAE as on February 3 stand at 313,626 while total recoveries are 289,276. The death toll rises to 878.

Over 26.2 million tests have been conducted to date as part of the country's massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.
