UAE detects fresh 3,243 COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Tuesday reported 3,243 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 2,195 recoveries and six deaths.

The new cases were detected through addtional 151,480 tests.

The UAE has conducted over



22.5 million tests till date as part of the country's massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The total number of cases in UAE as on January 12 stand at 236,225 while total recoveries are 210,561. Death toll rises to 717.
