UAE registers 430 new infections of corona

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Thursday reported 430 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 760 new recoveries. One death was also reported.

More than 49,000 new Covid-19 tests have also been carried out, the ministry



added.

Recoveries have now outnumbered fresh infections for 16 successive days. The number of active cases, at 11,090, is the lowest since May 2, and the UAE's recovery rate stands at more than 75 per cent, compared with the global average of under 55 per cent.
