UAE reports new 2,930 Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Sunday reported 2,930 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,517 recoveries and 8 deaths.

The new cases were detected through 226,139 additional tests.

Over 30.6 million tests have been



conducted across the UAE to date as part of the country's massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The total number of cases in UAE as on February 28 are 391,524 while total recoveries stand at 381,225. The death toll rises to 1,221.
