Corona cases are on rise in Uttar Pradesh. For the last 2 consecutive days, the number are rising sharply. State records highest single-day spike in recent times with 208 new cases reported during the past 24 hours, taking the total tally of COVID-19 patients to 4,464.
Meanwhile, state government has decided to being back migrant workers from North East also.
Total 8 persons have lost their lives in last 24 hours and total number of deaths due to COVID19 has reached 112. With the migrant workers reaching into state in a large numbers corona positive cases are also increasing sharply. From last 2 days number of new cases are above 200.

cases were reported from Pratapgarh followed by 11 from Hapur, 10 each from Noida and Lakhimpur Kheri, 9 from Ghaziabad, eight each from Lucknow, Pilibhit and Meerut, seven each from Aligarh, Moradabad and Ambedkar Nagar and six from Allahabad. After a long gap, number of positive cases identified in a day were more in the comparison of discharged cases.
Meanwhile state government has decided to bring back it's migra t workers from North East and Orissa. Additional Chief Secretary Home Awanish Kumar Swasth said that 11 trains will run daily from Delhi to bring back workers and 10 thousand buses are ready to send workers to their respective places.
