Uttar Pradesh reports 502 new Covid-19 cases

In the highest single-day spike since the coronavirus outbreak, Uttar Pradesh on Friday reported 502 new Covid-19 cases, mounting the state tally to 9,733. There are now 3,828 active cases of Covid-19 in the state.

257 Covid-19 related deaths have taken



place in the state so far.

In Uttar Pradesh, Agra continues to be the worst hit district with 928 Covid-19 cases, followed by 609 in Noida, 493 in Meerut, 466 in Kanpur and 442 in Lucknow, according to the information given by the state health department.
