WHO: 184 countries have joined COVAX facility

World Health Organization Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that 184 countries have now joined the COVAX facility.

While addressing the media briefing on COVID-19 in Geneva yesterday, he said, this aims to finance COVID-19 vaccines to be distributed fairly to both rich and poor countries.

 

The Director General stated, the COVID cases are quickening as the northern half of the globe enters winter, especially in Europe and North America. So it's significant that all legislatures should zero in on the basics that help to
