Mumbai: Maharashtra is launching a special Covid-19 vaccination drive from today with a target of inoculating 15 lakh people everyday for next seven days. State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, the drive called Mission Kavach Kundal will continue till 14th of this month.
This program is a part of Centre’s target of reaching one hundred crore vaccination mark till Dussehra on 15th of this month. Mr Tope
said, while speaking to him, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had said that it was his expectation that Maharashtra must play a major role in achieving the 100 crore vaccination target.
Mr Tope said, he has spoken to all District Collectors and higher authorities of every district to take this mission on war footing and make it successful.
