Health Secretary Sudhansh Pant has said that over five lakh Ayushman Cards were made in just four days of the Ayushman Bhav' campaign. He said, over 20 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs were generated. Mr Pant said, in just four days footfall of more than 20 lakh were registered at the Health and Wellness Centres and Community Health Centres (CHCs) for availing free treatment and screening services.
He said, this program is highly ambitious for the Government of India and all states and union territories have been contributing wholeheartedly. Mr Pant said, it is important to achieve saturation of health services at
both primary and secondary levels.
President Droupadi Murmu had virtually launched the Ayushman Bhav Campaign in Gandhinagar on 13th of this month. The Ayushman Bhav Campaign is a comprehensive nationwide healthcare initiative of the Health Ministry that aims to provide saturation coverage of healthcare services, reaching every village and town in the country.
This Campaign is being implemented during the Seva Pakhwada which began on birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17th of this month and will continue till 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti.
