World Immunization Week 2025 begins today

World Immunization Week 2025 by the World Health Organisation (WHO) will begin from today across the globe. The week-long campaign will last till the 30th of this month. The World Immunization Week is celebrated in the last week of April to promote the life-saving power of immunization. 

The theme for this year



is “Immunization for All is Humanly Possible”. This theme emphasizes the importance of ensuring everyone, regardless of age or location, has access to life-saving vaccines. The WHO claims that over the last 50 years, essential vaccines have saved at least 15 crore 40 lakh lives.
