Sasikala sent to Parappana Agrahara jail in Bengaluru

With her chief ministerial hopes dashed after the Supreme Court ruling in the disproportionate assets case, AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala on Wednesday reached the Parappana Agrahara Central prison in



Bengaluru, where she will serve the remainder of her four-year sentence.

Due to the conviction order, she will not be able to contest any polls six years from the date of her release from prison.
