The Aam Aadmi Party has declared its first list of candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. The candidates have been announced for eight constituencies, including three from Mumbai.
Human rights activist Vitthal Lad will contest from Jogeshwari East, an entrepreneur Siraj Khan will contest from Chandivli and a former trade union leader Dilip Tawde from Dindoshi Constituency in Mumbai.

Elgar will be in fray from Bramhapuri Constituency in Chandrapur district. An Ayurvedic practitioner Dr Ananda Dadu Gurav will contest from Karveer Constituency in Kolhapur while Vishal Vadghule will contest from Nandgaon Assembly Constituency in Nasik District. Co-Convenor of the AAP Youth Wing Sandeep Sonawane will contest from Parvati Constituency in Pune while a doctor working in affordable health care sector, Dr. Abhijit More will contest from Kothrud Assembly in Pune.
