BJP, Apna Dal (Sonelal), and Nishad Party will jointly contest the upcoming assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh on all 403 seats. In a joint media briefing with Apna Dal Chief and Union Minister Anupriya Patel and Nishad Party Chief Sanjay Nishad in New Delhi, BJP President J P Nadda made this announcement. He said, under BJP's double-engine government, Uttar Pradesh has become a destination of investment and it is
doing well on social indicators. Mr Nadda said, now there is a rule of law in the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Anupriya Patel lauded the Central Government measures for the welfare of backward class and downtrodden. Sanjay Nishad also congratulated the Prime Minister for implementing various schemes for the welfare of fishermen.
