Patidar agitation leader Hardik
Patel will be in Mumbai on Tuesday and is scheduled to meet Shiv Sena chief
Uddhav Thackeray at his residence Matoshree. Patel will also be addressing Shiv
Sena's public meeting at Goregaon, a suburb consisting of Gujarati voters
mostly, in the evening. Industry Minister Subhash Desai and local Sena
candidate Biren Limbachia will also be present at the meeting.
Goregaon is BJP leader and
former
deputy mayor Dilip Patel's constituency. This comes just ahead of BMC elections
which will be held on February 21.
Shiv Sena has decided to contest
BMC elections separatetly, and not with its ally the BJP. The two parties have
been running a coalition government at the Centre, state and BMC over the last
few years. However, things have been on the boil recently.
Do you think AAP will perform better in Delhi polls without alliance?
