New Delhi: Campaigning for elections of Delhi Municipal Corporation is in full swing for 250 Wards. Various political parties including BJP, AAP and Congress are campaigning in various parts of the city in favour of their party candidates.
Addressing a public meeting in Badarpur, BJP National President J P Nadda alleged that first Congress did big politics with MCD and now Aam Aadmi Party is doing it. He said, Congress had divided the MCD while Aam Aadmi Party has reduced its budget. Mr Nadda said that the country is marching ahead on the path to progress, but there is no development in Delhi as the AAP government
is working against the interests of the common man.
Addressing a public rally in Samaypur Badli, AAP leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia accused the BJP of misgovernance, garbage and other civic issues.
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Anil Chaudhary argued that the city is collapsing under Arvind Kejriwal's leadership. He addressed a rally in Tughlakabad Ward.
250 wards of MCD will go to polls on the 4th of next month while the counting of votes will take place on the 7th of December.
