Campaigning for seventh and last phase of assembly elections in UP to end today

Campaigning for the seventh and last phase of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will end this evening. Fifty-four constituencies spread over 9 districts will go to polls in this phase. These districts are Mau, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra and Bhadohi. A total of 613 candidates are in the fray for this phase.

More than one-month-long high decibel poll campaign will end today evening in Uttar Pradesh. Only few hours are left for the political parties to pull voters towards their side in the political hotbed of poorvanchal region.

Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will first hold a  meeting with the intellectual class of Varanasi and Later he will address a rally in khajuri area of Varanasi. Prime Minister reached Varanasi yesterday and



held a road show. later he interacted with common people of the city and had a cup of tea with them at a tea stall also. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav also led roadshow later in the evening.

Senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting at Malhani in Jaunpur. BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda will address a public meeting at Sitamarhi in Bhadohi today.
