AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi will campaign for the party candidate at dholana constituency in Hapur district today. 

Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav is also expected to file his nomination from the Karhal assembly seat in Mainpuri district today. 

In Uttar Pradesh Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the first virtual rally for the state this afternoon. He will address the voters and party workers of Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat and Gautam Buddh Nagar districts. 

Earlier, on January 18, Mr Modi had virtually interacted with BJP workers of Varanasi. These districts are going for polls in the first phase of elections on 10th February. The BJP has made elaborate arrangements for the first virtual rally of the Prime Minister.

election in Uttar Pradesh is reaching its crescendo with the entry of senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the political battlefield. He will be addressing the first virtual rally in western UP today afternoon which will be telecasted live on various social media platforms.  

Following the Election Commission guidelines, the BJP has made arrangements of LED vans at 98 locations in 21 Assembly constituencies across five districts. Around 49,000 people will hear the Prime Ministers address at these locations as per the guidelines. 

Party has claimed to have sent the link for a virtual rally to around ten lakh smartphone holders in these districts. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma will also connect to the digital rally from Agra and Lucknow respectively.
