Campaigning has intensified for the second phase of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. In this phase, 26 constituencies spread over six districts will go to polls on the 25th of September. Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Jammu last evening. He will address five election rallies in Poonch, Rajouri, and Jammu districts today. Tomorrow, Mr Shah is scheduled to hold rallies at Nowshera and Majalta in Udhampur East constituency. BJP National President JP Nadda will



hold a roadshow and address two public meetings in Jammu tomorrow.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also address a series of public meetings tomorrow and on the 25th of this month. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will address election rallies in Poonch and Srinagar on Monday. National Conference President and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah, is likely to hold a rally at Zainakote on Monday.
