Elections to the Legislative Assemblies of Haryana and Maharashtra are scheduled for the 21st of October. Campaigning has intensified in both states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two rallies in Charkhi Dadri and Thanesar in Haryana today. 
 
In Maharashtra, ruling BJP will release its manifesto for assembly elections in Mumbai today. BJP working President JP Nadda and Chief



Minister Devender Fadnavis will release the party's Sankalp Patra. 

Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot is also in the city and will hold day-long meetings, outreach sessions and public rallies. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has decided to conduct live webcasting from over 9,000 polling stations, including sensitive ones, during the Assembly elections.
