In Jharkhand, campaigning is in full swing for the second phase of assembly elections in the state. Leaders of both the N.D.A. and I.N.D.I.A. blocs are making allegations and counter-allegations to garner support for their party candidates.
While addressing election meetings at Giridih, Bokaro and Gandey Senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah accused the Hemant Soren government of protecting Bangladeshi infiltrators. Mr Shah promised people if the BJP is voted to power law will be framed to oust infiltrators.
On the other hand, addressing an election meeting at Dumka senior JMM leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren
accused the BJP of the backwardness of Jharkhand.
Addressing an election rally at Jamtara Senior RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav alleged issue issue-based and positive politics should be adopted by political parties.
Leaders of the Congress, AJSU, and left parties also addressed poll rallies and road shows in different parts of the state. The second phase of polling will be held on the 20th of this month while counting will take place on the 23rd of November.
