Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao demanded that the Centre clarify whether cryptocurrency has been legalised in the country.

He asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to explain if cryptocurrency has been



validated. He questioned on what basis does the union Finance Minister announce plans to impose 30 per cent tax on digital assets as well as introducing digital currency by Reserve Bank of India. The union Government had recently announced that it had no plans to allow cryptocurrency in India.
