AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal warned Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh and the Badals against labelling NRIs as terrorists.
During a roadshow in favour of party candidates in three urban constituencies in the district, Kejriwal claimed that both SAD and the Congress had been perturbed over the overwhelming response to AAP and thus levelling irrational charges such as calling the
NRI supporters of AAP as terrorists.
“A few days ago, I stayed at the house of a Sikh volunteer, whom they started propagating as terrorist. They should know that Punjabis residing abroad are concerned about the future of Punjab. They have come in big numbers to campaign for AAP as they feel that Akalis and Congress have been looting Punjab for decades,” he said.
