Congress yesterday accused the BJP of trying to distract public from the real issues facing the country, such as unemployment, price rise and concerns raised by farmers.
Addressing roadshows in Wayanad Parliamentary constituency, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi termed his party’s manifesto as the voice of the people while that of the
BJP, a completely empty document. He accused BJP of trying to destroy the country’s constitution, which ensure the rights of its citizens, regardless of their caste, religion or gender.
The Congress leader is seeking re-election from Wayanad for the second consecutive term.
