Congress releases election manifesto for Goa assembly polls

Congress party on Friday released its manifesto for upcoming Goa assembly polls scheduled on 14th of February. Releasing party manifesto senior congress leader Rahul Gandhi assured that Congress will not let Goa become a coal hub after forming government in the state.

Mr Gandhi said development works will be taken up only after taking everyone into confidence.



Rahul Gandhi launched NYAY scheme which promises annual income transfer of rupees 72 thousand to each of the poorest families in the state. 

The Congress party has also assured to cap the Petrol and Diesel prices at rupees 80 per litre. The party has further assured 30 percent reservation for women in a government job.
