Campaigning for 70-member Delhi Assembly polls is in full swing. Prominent leaders of the BJP, Aam Aadmi Party, and Congress are trying to woo the voters in favour of their candidates by conducting road shows, door-to-door campaigns, and public meetings.  

Senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath yesterday held public meetings in Kirari, Janakpuri, and Karol Bagh area. Mr Adityanath hit out at the ruling Aam Aadmi Party for alleged poor conditions of roads and cleanliness issues in the national capital. He also slammed AAP for the lack of cleanliness of the Yamuna River and accused AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal of betraying his mentor Anna Hazare. BJP President J P Nadda also addressed rallies in different parts of the city. 

Addressing Delhi voters, Mr Nadda alleged that Aam Aadmi Party has broken all records of corruption in the last 10 years. He accused Mr Kejriwal of depriving Delhi people of the



central government’s Ayushman Bharat health scheme.
 
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal also addressed several rallies in the city. Addressing a gathering in the Harinagar area, Mr Kejriwal claimed that in the last 10 years, the AAP has done a lot of work for the city including 24-hour electricity, improved healthcare, and educational infrastructure. He also alleged that if BJP comes to power then they will stop all the people’s benefit schemes.
 
On the other hand, senior Party leader Pawan Khera, Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav, and other prominent leaders yesterday launched the theme song of the party for the Delhi polls. Addressing the Media, Mr Khera targeted Aam Aadmi Party for an alleged liquor scam in the city.
 
Elections for the Delhi assembly are scheduled for the 5th of the next month and the results will be declared on the 8th of February.
