Campaigning has picked up momentum for the first phase of the Assembly Elections in Jharkhand.

In Jharkhand, voting for the first phase of assembly polls will be held on the 13th of this month. Defence Minister and Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh held a public rally at Lohardaga in Ranchi yesterday. He highlighted that Jharkhand was formed during the BJP-led government, with the primary aim of making the state a model of development.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also addressed a poll meeting at Domchanch in Koderma. He accused Senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren of ruining the state and said that the election is the right time to change the government. 

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge sought vote in favour of I.N.D.I.A bloc candidates at Mandu in Hazaribagh while senior JMM leader Hemant Soren also addressed a series of meetings across the state. Polling for the second phase election in Jharkhand will take place on the 20th of this month.

Election campaigning has intensified for Assembly Polls in Maharashtra. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be



campaigning in Nagpur and Mumbai today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address a series of rallies between 8 to 14 November in the state.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will kick off his campaign for Maharashtra Assembly Elections by paying homage at Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur. He is also scheduled to address Samvidhan Sammelan in Nagpur.

In the evening, Mr. Gandhi will address a public meeting of the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance in Mumbai. It is expected that Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, NCP(SP) chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena(UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and other important leaders of the MVA alliance will be a part of this meeting.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray will be campaigning in Latur today. Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde campaigned in favour of Mahayuti candidates in Satara and Kolhapur yesterday while Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis campaigned in his constituency Nagpur South West.

 The 288 constituencies in the state will go to polls on 20 November, counting will be held on 23rd November.
