In Chhattisgarh, electioneering is gaining momentum in 20 assembly constituencies going for elections in the first phase on 7th November.
Bharatiya Janata Party President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Sunday addressed election meetings in Dongargarh and Pandariya assembly constituencies of the state. He said that BJP developed Chhattisgarh in every field during its 15 years of tenure from the year 2003 to 2018. But, the development in the state has come to a standstill during the last five years of Congress rule. The benefits of the Central schemes
have not reached the people and there have been many corruptions and scams in the state.
On the other hand, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the election rally in Kabirdham and Rajnandgaon today, said the annual amount given to landless laborers will be increased from 7 thousand to 10 thousand rupees . Besides, the amount of health insurance scheme will be increased from 5 lakh to 10 lakh rupees in the event of Congress retaining power in the state.
