GHMC Final Results: TRS wins Hyderabad after a close competition from BJP and AIMIM

As per the latest trends, the ruling Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) win Hyderabad's civic body polls while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) finish as the runner-up.

With the tremendous showing, the saffron party has not only made major inroads in Hyderabad but also signalled a warning to the regional players for the next Assembly elections in Telangana.

After staying at the second spot the entire day of vote counting, Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM finish at the third spot but won't see any major change in its current standing in the GHMC.

Meanwhile, it was yet another disappointing performance for Congress as the party is expected to win just two wards in the 150-ward Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
