In Haryana, BJP Senior leader and Home Minister, Amit Shah addressed the Jan Ashirwad rally in Bhiwani yesterday. During his speech, he criticised the Congress Party and appealed to cast their votes in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that Congress is contesting the elections in Jammu and Kashmir based on re-imposition of Article 370 but this will not happen as long as the BJP government is in power.

He said the Congress party is in favour of ending reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. Mr Shah said that former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda had given a minimum support price on

4 crops only in his 10-year tenure, whereas the BJP government is giving a minimum support price on 24 crops.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also addressed the rally. He said that Rahul Gandhi is spreading false propaganda about the Agniveer scheme. Mr Saini said the Haryana government has made a proper reservation policy to give jobs to Agniveers in the state.

Acting Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, MP Dharambir Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Kiran Chaudhary, Kuldeep Bishroi and various other leaders were also present at the rally.
