In Gujarat, total 69 candidates filed their nomination papers for 26 Loksabha seats on Tuesday, while seven nomination papers have been filed for by-poll of four assembly seats. 

The total number of nominations filed for 26 Loksabha seats in the state have gone up to 127. 

Last day of filing of nomination papers is Thursday, while polling will be held on 23 of this month.

BJP’s sitting MP Mohanbhai Kundaria from Rajkot seat, Ms. Punamben Madam from Jamnagar seat, Naranbhai Kachhadia



from Amreli seat, Dr.K.C.Patel from Valsad ST seat and Mansukh Vasava from Bharuch filed their nomination papers on Tuesday. 

BJP’s new candidates Rameshbhai Dhaduk from Porbandar seat and Mitesh Patel from Anand have also filed their nominations.

Prominent Congress candidates Tushar Chaudhari from Bardoli ST seat and Punjabhai Vansh from Junagadh seat have also filed their nomination papers. Several BSP and NCP candidates have also filed their nominations.
