Campaigning has reached its peak for the seventh and final phase of Lok Sabha elections as only two days are left for the electioneering to end.
Fifty-nine constituencies, spread over seven states and one union territory, will go to polls in this phase on Sunday.
Top political leaders are holding rallies at different places in a bid to win the voters. Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally at Mau in Uttar Pradesh this morning.
He said, his government is committed to the welfare of the poor, farmers and women. Mr Modi said, monetary
aid was transferred directly to the bank accounts of the farmers who previously had to borrow even for small expenses.
The Prime Minister will address rallies at Chandauli and Mirzapur in UP and at Mathurapur and Dum Dum in West Bengal later in the day.
BJP President Amit Shah will address a rally at Maharajganj and hold a roadshow at Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi will campaign at Kushinagar in UP and Patna in Bihar.
Party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will campaign in Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh.
