Congress declares names of two more candidates for LS Polls in Gujarat

Congress has declared the names of two more candidates for Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat. The party has announced Naresh Maheshwari’s as candidate for Kutch Lok Sabha seat which is reserved for Schedule Caste. 

BJP has fielded sitting MP Vinod Chavda on this seat. Congress has also announced Dharmesh Patel as party’s candidate for Navsari Lok Sabha seat where BJP's sitting MP C.R.



Patil has been fielded against him. Navsari is considered one of safest seats for BJP in Gujarat.

Congress had earlier announced its candidates for four Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat which included Ahmedabad West, Anand, Vadodara and Chhota Udepur. Polling for 26 Loksabha seats of Gujarat will be held on 23rd April in the third phase.
