PM highlighted that investment agreements bringing in over Rs. 70,000 crore have been signed for the Marathwada region

Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that Maharashtra must take the lead in the nation’s path towards ‘Viksit Bharat’, and as part of this vision, several modern infrastructure projects are currently underway in the state. 

Addressing an election rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Marathwada, he highlighted that investment agreements bringing in over Rs.70,000 crore have been signed for the region, and projects worth more than Rs. 45,000 crore are already operational in Marathwada.

On the other hand, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed a rally in Igatpuri. He highlighted various infrastructural projects pioneered by former PM Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and credited him as the founding basis of India’s development. He said former Prime Ministers late Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi laid their lives for the nation.
